Day 242

Race day is tomorrow! We've hydrated and carbed up. We went to the expo and left with our bibs, race shirts, and goodies we didn't know we needed. (I bought a book at the expo. That was a first.) Sandra and I went on a 5.5-mile shakeout run through Georgetown and previewed some of tomorrow's course. I did spend some time working on the lab portion of my statistics midterm, but other than that, today was laid back and all about preparing for race day. We also caught the second half of the LSU game, though I mostly worked on statistics and looked up whenever Sandra sounded excited or angry.

Here's hoping for an excellent race tomorrow. We've trained for this, so now it's time to show the world what a summer of hot runnin' can do!
Hitting the sign for good luck during our shakeout run!
Something that made today great: I enjoyed having the day just to focus on getting ready for the race.
Time I woke up: 9:02 (but that was 8:02 in Louisiana)
