Day 127

Today marked the beginning of the last week of classes for the semester. Finals are next week. Woah, baby.

I haven't admitted this widely, but I fell off of the planner wagon this semester, and it shows. At one point, I was using two planners and an online calendar, but that stopped around mid-February. Since that time and up until today, I'd abandoned all but my online calendar, and that was mainly for tracking my hours worked (or not worked as it's been lately!)

Tonight after class/literature review workshop, I spent some time with my planner because I know that May is going to be super busy, but I needed a visual. Part of me thinks it was a mistake to put it all out there (it's a bit overwhelming!) but the other, more sensible, part knows it had to be done if I'm going to get back on the right track and have an awesome (but also productive) summer. I am fortunate that it is looking like I am going to come out of this semester with grades I can be proud of, and I have worked hard despite my decreased organization--heck, it's likely that I've worked harder because I haven't been as organized lately--but it's time to get back on the planner train. Good thing I already have stickers and pens ready to roll.

Something that made today great: I had a truly delicious lunch at Reginelli's today and am already thinking about when I'll go back.
Time I woke up: 9:00 am
